A Redemptive Approach to Bullying and Brokenness

6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Medina Library
Medina Community Room A+B

Event Details

We’ve all heard the message that bullying is bad. We’ve wept over stories of brokenness that drove students into suicide, addictions or destructive behavior. What you may not realize is the role you personally can play over the long-haul in giving the emerging generation more than a “bumper sticker” reply about the real hurdles they’re wrestling with. Rally cries or reactive initiatives may be well-intentioned, but they often shut down conversations about the deeper hot topics that are hidden under the issues we’re more familiar with. Join Pastor Tony Myles in taking a good, redemptive look in the mirror about what we can and can’t do in our how we serve young people. This will be an interactive gathering for adults and teenagers willing to foster the change they hope to see in the world.
